1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address via Google Sign-In. When you use our tools, we temporarily process any audio or text you submit to generate your requested output. We also collect standard usage data such as pages visited, features used, and device/browser type to improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and operate the Lyssna service; process your audio and text generation requests; manage your account and credits; send important service notifications; and improve and develop new features. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Audio and Text Data
Audio files and text you submit are processed by our AI providers (including ElevenLabs, Inworld, MiniMax, and OpenAI Whisper) solely to generate your requested output. We do not retain your input audio or text beyond what is necessary to complete and deliver your generation. Generated outputs are stored in your account history and can be deleted by you at any time.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your account data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud). We use industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access to user data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
5. Third-Party Services
Lyssna uses the following third-party services to operate: Google Firebase (authentication and database), ElevenLabs / Inworld / MiniMax (TTS generation), OpenAI Whisper (speech-to-text), and standard analytics tools. Each provider has their own privacy policy governing their use of data.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your generation history from within the app. To request full account deletion or a copy of your data, contact us at [email protected].
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Lyssna after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
